Founder-Started his insurance career in 1955 with Mutual of Omaha & Nationwide; in 1959 opened Bernard A Cesar Inc, Independent Insurance Agency. He was a dedicated Insurance person, his priority was always the person, the customer. In the 1970's he served on the Board of Directors of IMA (Independent Mutual Agents), during his time the Board approved the CIC(Certified Insurance Counselor professional education program) the changed the name and became know as PIA (Professional Insurance Agents); he also served as the Insurance consultant for the NYS Funeral Directors Association. He did many things, investor, inventor and business entrepreneur. He was a family man, deeply devoted to the Lord and enjoyed Life to the fullest. He truly loved the Insurance Business, he would tell you, "Insurance isn't work because I love what I do". As the agency grew with myself, my sister and Brother-in-Law he continued to work, he never really fully retired. For 94 years he continued to enjoy the opportunity to meet, have interaction and help people whenever possible.
